Gen.G is one of South Korea’s most prominent esports organizations, competing across League of Legends, Valorant, and other titles. The Seoul-based org has distinguished itself through premium branding and high-profile partnerships, and its collaboration with Japanese sportswear brand Descente has produced some of the most refined jerseys in the LCK.
For the 2025 season, Gen.G and Descente delivered the official player jersey in two colorways, continuing a partnership that combines Japanese athletic engineering with Korean esports culture.
Design
The 2025 jersey is available in Black and Light Grey, both featuring a clean, modern design that emphasizes Descente’s athletic heritage. The construction uses Descente’s performance fabrics, originally developed for skiing and training gear, adapted for the demands of competitive gaming.
The Gen.G logo is prominently displayed on the chest with a refined finish. Sponsor logos are integrated with restraint, maintaining the premium aesthetic that Gen.G’s fanbase has come to expect. The overall look is minimal and sophisticated, letting the quality of materials and construction speak for themselves.
Pricing and Release Schedule
The jersey is priced at KRW 109,000 (approximately $89 USD), plus a jacket and training wear at higher price points. Gen.G implemented a staggered release schedule:
- January 15 — Early access for Gen.G members
- January 20 — Available on Gen.G Shop
- January 23 — Available on Musinsa (Korea’s largest fashion platform)
This tiered approach rewards loyal fans with first access while maximizing visibility through Musinsa’s massive Korean consumer base.
Worlds 2025 Edition
Later in the year, Gen.G and Descente released a special Worlds 2025 edition ahead of the League of Legends World Championship. This variant featured a full black colorway with geometric patterns and white accents, plus a silver-gradient Gen.G logo. The Worlds jersey was priced the same at KRW 99,000, with an accompanying jacket at KRW 189,000.
The Worlds edition launched with member early access on September 1 and public sale on September 4, following the same staggered model.
