Nouns Esports x adidas Color-Coded Game Jerseys

Nouns Esports is the most unconventional organization in competitive gaming — a decentralized, DAO-backed (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) team that uses blockchain governance to make organizational decisions. But beyond the Web3 infrastructure, Nouns has built a genuinely creative merchandise operation, including game-specific jerseys produced in partnership with adidas and manufactured by Raven.GG.

Color-Coded Game Jerseys

Nouns takes a unique approach: each competitive title gets its own jersey color:

This color-coding system means fans can immediately identify which game a jersey represents, creating a visual taxonomy that no other organization uses. It also means Nouns produces more distinct jersey designs per year than most teams, each targeted at a specific game community.

The adidas Partnership

For The International 2023, Nouns produced a jersey in partnership with adidas, making them one of a select few organizations (alongside 100 Thieves and FURIA) with direct adidas involvement in their merchandise. The TI2023 jersey is available through the Nouns Esports store.

The adidas co-branding adds premium credibility to a DAO-backed organization that might otherwise struggle with mainstream brand perception.

DAO-Backed Merch

What makes Nouns Esports merchandise philosophically unique is that the organization’s direction (including merch decisions) can be influenced by the Nouns DAO governance process. This means the community has a voice in what products get produced — a model that no traditional esports organization offers.

The Nouns DAO has even approved proposals for a cut-and-sew clothing line intended to build brand familiarity outside of Web3, showing ambition to move beyond gaming merchandise into mainstream fashion.

Raven.GG Manufacturing

Nouns jerseys are produced by Raven.GG, a specialized esports apparel manufacturer that also produces jerseys for Immortals, Into The Breach, and other organizations. Raven.GG’s 3D jersey builder and custom sublimation technology enable the color-coded approach that defines Nouns’ visual identity.
